This stunning town is located in the crater of an extinct volcano. It is surrounded by mountains and cloud forest where you can explore and do some hiking to nearby waterfalls, unwind in hot springs and do some shopping. There is a well-known arts and crafts market where you can purchase souvenirs that are hand-made.

I opted to do a hike to some local waterfalls and on my journey I found a few sloths in the trees and even a mother with her baby on her back, crossing the road! If you are interested in butterflies, there is a butterfly garden which you can visit for $5 USD.
